Vanessa Friend

Vanessa Friend is a Partner and Head of the Family Law team at Hodge Jones & Allen, qualifying in 2009 and joining HJA in 2019 from Hunters where she gained experience with HNW clients, trusts and landed estates. She practices exclusively in family law and is a trained mediator, with particular expertise in pre-marital agreements for couples with assets in excess of £70 million, complex leave-to-remove children applications, pension sharing on divorce and Schedule 1 financial provision for children of unmarried parents. The Legal 500 2026 describes her as “truly a stand-out partner and excellent mediator in children matters”, and she regularly acts for clients in the media industry, sports professionals and fellow legal professionals.
