Stephen James Fanning

Stephen James Fanning is the Principal and Partner at James & Co Solicitors LLP, which he established in January 2006. He has over 31 years’ experience as a qualified solicitor, with substantial expertise across family law, matrimonial matters, immigration, consumer law, housing and property disputes. Fanning serves as the Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) and Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA) for the firm. He advises clients throughout Brighton and Sussex on divorce proceedings, dissolution of civil partnerships, matrimonial asset distribution, and conveyancing matters, with a practice approach focused on detailed advice and amicable settlement where possible.
