Riaz Bashir

Riaz Bashir is Managing Partner of Stachiw Bashir Green Solicitors and heads the firm’s Family Law department. Qualified in 1995 with over 25 years’ experience in all aspects of family law, he is a longstanding member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel (Advanced). He specialises in complex financial remedy proceedings, particularly high-net-worth cases involving multiple properties, business interests, pension sharing and third-party claims. He is particularly sought after for his expertise in handling foreign and religious marriages and divorces. Beyond his legal practice, Riaz is Director of Justice Bradford, the University of Bradford’s law clinic, and was appointed Assistant Professor in January 2023.
