Philip Barnsley

Philip Barnsley is a partner and head of the family law team at Higgs LLP, having joined as a trainee and qualified in 1999 before becoming a partner in 2004. He has specialised exclusively in family law throughout his career, developing significant expertise in high-value financial remedy proceedings, complex property and business asset cases on divorce, and the protection of wealth through nuptial agreements. Philip is deeply involved in the family law profession, having served as regional chair and being elected to the National and Executive Committees of Resolution, the professional body for family justice in the UK, and regularly presents at national conferences. He represents professionals, directors, entrepreneurs and clients with owner-managed businesses, and has been a trained Collaborative Family Lawyer.
