About Melissa
Melissa Billington studied at the University of Northumbria in Newcastle and graduated in 2017 with a first class Master of Law degree. She gained experience in all aspects of family law during her training contract before qualifying as a solicitor in 2021 and specialising in care and children matters. Based at Russell & Russell’s Chester office, Melissa works in the Care Team representing parents in care proceedings and handling children law matters. She brings both legal expertise and practical compassion to sensitive family cases involving local authority involvement and child welfare issues.
