Jenny Lapwood

Jenny Lapwood is a Chartered Legal Executive (Fellow) and leads the Family Law team at Cunningtons’ Chelmsford office. She qualified in 2011 and brings substantial experience in family law following a background in social work. Jenny joined Cunningtons in 2018 and has since built extensive expertise in divorce and civil partnership dissolution, financial disputes following relationship breakdown, children act applications, and family law act proceedings. She advises clients on pre- and post-nuptial agreements and takes an empathetic but realistic approach tailored to each client’s circumstances. Jenny has previously volunteered with Essex services supporting families with children with behavioural difficulties and homeless charities.
