Jason Burnett

Jason Burnett is a Director in the Family and Care Proceedings team at Banner Jones Solicitors, having qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and spent his entire career representing the best interests of families and children. He joined Banner Jones in April 2022 from a period as in-house counsel with a specialist laboratory conducting drugs and alcohol testing for the Family Court, and was promoted to Director in recognition of his strategic contribution to growing the Care department across North Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. He has a particular forensic approach and specialism in cases involving allegations of substance misuse, non-accidental injury and mental health difficulties, and holds accreditation in Children Law from the SRA and membership of the Law Society’s Accredited Children Panel.
