Tips for court forms

Before you start

  • Check you’re using the current version of the form
  • Read any accompanying guidance notes
  • Gather all documents you’ll need to attach
  • Make sure you have the correct fee or Help with Fees reference

Completing forms

  • Use black ink if completing by hand
  • Write clearly in BLOCK CAPITALS
  • Don’t leave boxes blank – write “N/A” if not applicable
  • Sign and date where required
  • Keep copies of everything

Submitting forms

  • Include all required attachments
  • Include the correct fee or Help with Fees reference
  • If posting, use recorded delivery
  • Keep proof of posting
